A Leap of Faith!

When you are a stay at home mom, you crave that alone time. That time to work on something that is your own. To Have something to work on and feel accomplished. This is something i have had trouble with my entire like.  I would start something and then be to scared to follow through.  Tonight i took a Leap of Faith and Signed up to be Market Partner for MONAT! 

True this may sound silly, or like a commercial and NOT a good one! This is a true story of how after years of trying different products, Whether they are from a hair salon or a drug store. I couldn't find anything that would help my hair to be healthy! My hair ends and part of my mid-shaft was split! To the point it felt just like straw! There was nothing that would help it! Not even a hair mask would touch it! It was so bad that i was putting my hair in a pony tail every day, because there was nothing else i could do with it!   Let me give you some back story as to why i decided to Sign up with MONAT!

Before i got married and had kids i went to collage to become a hair stylist! I have all the knowledge that every other hair stylist has and maybe a few extra things. I learned how to colour hair, and cut it. I learned how to give a facial, tint eye browns and eye lashes. I learned how to be a barber which i excelled at! The one thing i didn't excel at was women's hair cuts. I just couldn't get the hang of it! After I got married i got pregnant right away, and all this got put on the back burner.  It never really came back to me and i realized i liked being at home with my kids and since we could afford it i stayed home. The love of having my hair done and helping others with their hair never left me, it just changed over the years. So getting back to the story...........

I booked a appointment with my hair stylist, I decided i had nothing to lose so i tried Monat. After 1 wash i was impressed still unsure. Second wash and my hair kept getting better! Some research later and many more washes later my hair feels fantastic! yes it is true that i started using MONAT after my hair was cut and coloured. Even after leaving the salon my ends still felt like straw. Now after a month of using Monat my hair has never felt better! It's shinny, soft, and my colour still looks like i walked out of the salon. 

You remember that blog I wrote about Mommy time, and taking care of you so you can take care of them?  Well i like to think this falls in that category. The category of Mommy Maintenance!
