When your mommy time is NOT relaxing!

The Hair colour came out great!
The behaviour needs work!

When you go for your mommy time and you chose to go get your hair cut and coloured, is it wrong to think that your stylist should stay around and talk you and not hide in the back of the salon?

Today I finally had a few hours of me time. This is rare this time of year because seeding is in full swing. However my mother was nice enough to baby sit my 6 yr old and 2 yr old for the couple of hrs it would take to fix my multicoloured mess that i call hair. It was all going well. I was putting her through her paces as it took 3 different hair colours to create 1 colour of hair. We were talking it was going great, but then when the hair colour was all applied and she set the timer, she went to the back room to talk to other people and ignored ME! She ignored the paying customer! If you were getting your hair done wouldn't you want the stylist to stay and talk while you wait? I understand when the phone rings or someone needs help, but go to the back and talk to the other stylist's that aren't working or are not talking to their clients....WTF? I went to school to be a hair dresser..but instead got pregnant and had babies. So i know when a salon is being bitchy and rubbing off on a person and this a good example of it. Don't ignore your clients! talk to them, don't go the back of the salon and f*ck around with other people! That will make your client feel like you don't like them or that you don't care. That will make them find a new hair stylist very quick! Don't miss understand she did do a good job on colouring and cutting my hair! But ignoring me has made me not want to go back her! MY stylist use to own her own salon. Since moving to a salon that has other stylists, she started ignoring her clients instead of sitting and talking with them. I saw other stylist's at this salon doing the same thing. How is this good customer care? At one point i found myself wondering how they have clients? Am i wrong to be annoyed by this?

 What was suppose to be a nice relaxing girl talk time, was a getting ignored time! What people seem to forget for a farmers wife is that personal time is far and few in between and when i get it, i want to enjoy it and not sit there and be annoyed with you! How many times has your hair dresser done something you found really annoying? How many times has your mommy time be interrupted by stupid people?
