The Horrible 3's are Worse than the 2's
When the Terrible 2's begin to melt into Horrible 3's you can take comfort in knowing you are just about over that hill.
3 year old's are much more crafty. Mine for example they would steal food or rather candy. They would scale the cliffs of cup broads in a desperate attempt to get their paws on candy. 3 year old's are much more aware of when you give up on a punishment and they like to capitalize on this. A 3 year old can find your weakness and exploit it. Like for example: You went to the bathroom. The 3 year old knows this and begins to think of things they want and how long it will take to get them. From there they make a quick decision, and off they go to try to do it. Such as climbing up the cupboards to get on the counter, to then open the top cupboard where you keep your stash of candy(all moms have one) and start eating! You come out of the bathroom to him sitting happily on top of the oven eating candy. They will not flinch but just try to swallow as much as they can before you take the candy away to begin punishment time. Following through on punishments is very important, once you start you must see it through. No matter how much you want to go hide in a closet and cry your eye's out.

A 2 year old's favourite word is "MINE!" with a very angry look on there face as they try to pull it away from you. Supper becomes a struggle if it's the wrong colour...well back to the drawling broad. What no one seems to what to tell you is that 3 year old's are worse!

What should have been a simple bathroom brake, is never so simple. They will test you, much more than your 2 year old does. They become very aware when they win. You must never show them, that at some point you have a braking point. They must never know, it is like giving them the keys to your house and off they run to destroy it! When they know your weakness...for lack of a better word you are Fucked!
To all you mothers out there, be strong, don't show weakness, don't show fear, and above all remember this is not a democracy it is a dictatorship and YOU RULE!
